About Humanities Commons
In July 2022, ARLISNA-Texas-Mexico transitioned from the ARLIS Texas-Mexico chapter listserv to a group within ARLIS/NA’s Humanities Commons, a scholarly network for ARLIS/NA members.
The group serves a similar function to the listserv, acting as an electronic forum to discuss issues related or of interest to the chapter or to disseminate information to chapter members. It also allows group members to share or collaborate on documents and add important dates or events to a group calendar.
To Join the Humanities Commons Chapter Group
Join the ARLIS/NA Commons here: ARLIS/NA Commons.
If you are an ARLIS/NA member, use the same email address that you use for your ARLIS/NA Membership to create your account. If you already have an account on any Humanities Commons site, contact hello@hcommons.org, and ask that your existing Humanities Commons account be linked to the ARLIS/NA Commons. If you are not a current member of ARLIS/NA, you can still participate in the group (for free) by joining the open Humanities Commons network.
Once you have joined the ARLIS/NA Humanities Group, click Groups and scroll to find ARLIS/NA Texas-Mexico Chapter and click the Join Group button. The link to our chapter’s group can be found here: https://arlisna.hcommons.org/groups/arlis-na-texas-mexico-chapter/.
